The Aliso Water District (“District”) held a public hearing on June 30, 2026 where landowners could provide public comment, submit ballots, and be present for the counting of the received ballots cast to either approve or deny the District’s ability to increase the Operations Assessment to a maximum rate of $90.00 per acre. Of the ballots received 97% were cast in favor of the increased assessment, meaning the proposed assessment based.

As noted in the public notice and during the public hearing, this newly approved rate is the maximum rate that the District can assess without seeking additional landowner approval. The Board of Directors will set the actual assessment rate annually at a publicly noticed meeting. A copy of the resolution adopting the increased assessment rate is linked below.
