In 2014, the California Sustainable Groundwater Management Act was signed into law to provide local agencies with the framework to manage groundwater basins in a sustainable manner, recognizing that groundwater is most effectively managed at the local level. The Aliso Water District Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) represents the interests of the groundwater users within the Aliso Water District. Aliso Water District GSA Board Meetings: The Aliso Water District and Aliso Water District GSA Board of Directors meet on the fourth Tuesday of every quarter at 1:30 p.m. at the Aliso Water District office, located at 13991 Avenue 7 in Madera, California. Board meeting agendas are posted a week before the meeting.
Please Note: The Aliso Water District GSA Board will hold a special meeting on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 3 p.m. Instructions on how to join the meeting are included in the Meeting Notice.
Annual Report Submitted for Delta-Mendota Subbasin: The first Annual Report was submitted on April 1, 2020, a consolidated report for all GSAs within the Delta-Mendota Subbasin.
